This book is a collection of Persian short stories written in a simple and fluent language. The titles of the stories included are “The Tree of Time,” “Imprisonment,” “Mark,” “Ruby,” “Sanctuary,” “Forest,” “Sun Worshiper,” “Youth,” “Rescue,” “Love,” “Wizard,” “Fate,” and “Meeting.” In the story “The Tree of Time,” we read: “Tonight, like some nights, he could not find a place to sleep. At such times, one had to sleep in the shelter of a rock or a tree. He chose two tall trees to sleep under that night. He had to continue his journey at sunrise. When he opened his eyes, he thought it was morning, but the sun had not risen. He was sure it was morning, but he did not know why there was no sign of the sunrise.”
