Principles of Anthropology

In this book, an effort has been made to explain a very complex subject, namely human culture and the science dedicated to studying it, in simple language. The contents of this book, as the title suggests, are only an “introduction” and “prelude” to familiarize with the subject. However, it should not be assumed that this “introduction” offers a comprehensive or relatively comprehensive view of this extensive science to the reader, or that the author makes such a claim. In fact, anthropology due to its temporal and spatial breadth and the presence of numerous specialized branches has today become one of the most complex human sciences, which simultaneously possesses both positive and negative aspects. Anthropology, because of its interdisciplinary nature, is an encyclopedic science that is the best tool for understanding the current complex world. Of course, anthropology needs interaction with other disciplines and specialized fields. However, the negative aspect is that these same reasons can lead an uninformed researcher towards superficial matters and reduce complex concepts to trivial concepts that will be of no use to themselves or others. In this book, efforts are also made to emphasize the positive aspect and recommend readers to avoid the negative aspect.
