I Am Still Awake

The stories mostly carry a feminine atmosphere and depict women’s concerns; women who are constantly afraid of losing their men, girls who cannot tolerate being away from their fathers, and wives fearful of being betrayed. Occasionally, men appear in the texts who praise their mothers more than any woman or husbands who are displeased with their wives. Each story is narrated in a different setting, portraying a corner of the life of one or various individuals.
