Iranian society is undergoing changes whose scope and outlook are not yet fully clear. Everyone living in Iranian society senses these transformations to some extent and expresses this experience in various ways. Judgments about youth or moral life, frequently expressed in everyday conversations or research reports, generally relate to such changes. It seems that cultural life, more than other areas of social life, is subject to these ethical evaluations, perhaps because it is undergoing more significant changes. The articles in this book examine the transformations in Iranian society using secondary data analysis methods from such research.
