Blade and Crown

The novel “Blade and Crown” is an effort to recreate the SAVAK violence in the 1350s (1970s) for controlling and suppressing revolutionaries. It focuses on the fate of a SAVAK agent who has divorced his wife and works undercover as a waiter in a restaurant established by SAVAK. His personal life, confused emotions, and the behavior of SAVAK team leaders with him and his colleagues are the author’s themes in creating this novel, which ends with the Muslim revolutionaries’ attack on the restaurant, setting it on fire and destroying it.
