The focus of general and political history is on broader historical trends, which is important in its place, but this perspective prevents us from paying attention to some details of cultural-social history at a micro level regarding regions and tribes, which constitute an important part of a country’s history and culture. In the present book, Mr. Nosratollah Zargar, who himself is one of the pioneers of the local music of this tribe, is deeply interested in his ethnic and cultural identity and has addressed important details about the history of the great Zargar tribe in various regions of Iran from the perspective of local history. Over years of effort, he has succeeded in collecting and carefully reviewing more than a thousand documents related to this tribe from various sources. The content of the book is organized into three sections, including an introduction and generalities, the text and images of documents from the Qajar period, and finally photos of some seals, tombstones, and contemporary personalities of this tribe.
