The Enchantment of the Beloved

This novel, narrated in a three-dimensional storytelling manner, unfolds from three different perspectives and across two distinct worlds. The timeline of the story spans between 1938 and 1944, during the reign of Reza Shah and the period of World War II. Parts of the novel are written in the style of magical realism. Its main protagonist, a boy named Siavash, embarks on a journey with a rebellious troop, leaving his southern village, and eventually reaches Tehran after a series of events.
