The Crisis of Consciousness and the Formation of Intellectualism in Iran

The author in this book discusses the trajectory of the history of intellectual thought in Iran during the Qajar period. The subject of the book is an interdisciplinary examination of the economic, social, political, and cultural interactions between Iran and the West during the mentioned historical period and the impact of this interaction on the emergence of a phenomenon called intellectualism.
