Simulation in International Relations

This book is composed of five chapters. The first chapter discusses various educational methods in political science and international relations and their effectiveness in the society of the country. It also addresses the novelty of some methods in teaching political science and international relations domestically, along with the benefits and challenges of each educational method. The second chapter specifically focuses on simulation in international relations, its rationale, and its particular functions. The third chapter introduces how to model simulation programs in international relations and the conditions and characteristics of an ideal simulation model; it also presents solutions and proposals based on common academic standards for designing simulation models in international relations. The fourth chapter, while mentioning different types of simulation models in international relations, introduces models that have either been tried in Iran or have the potential to be implemented there.
