What motivates me to write this book is the critique of Ms. Daneshvar’s mindset in areas that have not yet been written about or where what has been written is one-sided. I have aimed, in my own imagination, to illuminate those parts of her mind and language’s shadows that others have ignored and, inspired by the historical memory of the generation before the revolution and considering post-revolution literary criticism approaches, to draw a more comprehensive portrait within the scope of her recent novels.
