Jalal Al Ahmad

Much has been written about Jalal Al Ahmad and his works, but what we have presented comes from a different perspective. All my effort in this book is devoted to the critique and reinterpretation of some of his works based on new literary theories. I have addressed aspects and dimensions of this writer’s works that others have neglected. I have tried not to be intimidated by what has been written about him, whether right or wrong, and have examined the highs and lows, the shadows and lights of his mindset as I have understood it.
