Rubaiyat of Khayyam

The issues that Khayyam raises in his poems primarily have a philosophical aspect. He speaks about the helplessness of humans in the face of the grandeur of creation, which has neither a clear beginning nor an end, and questions where this coming is from and where it is going. He also wonders why the potter of time breaks the delicate cup he has made on the earth, causing suffering. As a wise man familiar with medical knowledge, Khayyam must have witnessed sudden death in patients. This sudden death, in more than 70 percent of cases, is related to heart complications.
