Two old schoolmates who once saw each other every day, lent each other books, discussed the books they read, and sometimes ended up in physical fights due to the intensity of their arguments, stop seeing each other after high school for years (and if they do, it’s by chance), their paths in life diverging: one searches for something lost that he won’t show to just anyone, while the other has locked himself up in a small apartment to write a novel about the revolution. Fate, after years, brings them face to face again: one has turned his back on the world to stay true to the ideals of his childhood and to do justice in the novel he’s writing about the revolution, while the other is searching for a master key—a key that, as long as it’s in your pocket, opens all doors.
