An economic theorist cannot be detached from the social realities of their own society in terms of research and investigation. An economic theorist is someone who not only pays attention to the economic realities around them (both their own society and the global society) but also engages in independent study of these realities, hypothesizing about them, testing these hypotheses within society, and applying the results to social affairs. Of course, for efficiency and ease, the theorist must be informed through prior education about the existing concepts, propositions, and economic theories. Therefore, not every theorist is a pioneer of a science, but the main prerequisite for economic theorizing is a scientific approach to the realities of society and societies, rather than mere mastery of existing concepts, propositions, and theories.
