History of the Safavids as Narrated by Stone Inscriptions

Among written historical sources, stone inscriptions, and particularly stone decrees, hold special significance, especially as many of these stone documents are the only surviving written evidence of historical, political, or social events. Therefore, attention to these types of sources can greatly enrich historical research. These inscriptions, collected in chronological order from various scattered sources, include governmental decrees, endowment deeds, or memorials. They provide a firsthand depiction of the social conditions and interactions between the government and the people during the Safavid era, making them important supplementary sources for studying the history of that period.
