In this book, an attempt has been made to present the theories of five political science thinkers—Plato, Hobbes, Locke, Mill, and Marx—regarding the question of what kind of government is desirable to the reader. The late Forough Farrokhzad used to say, “All my poetry is a mirror that reflects you over and over.” Similarly, the entire effort of this book is to explain the theories of these five pillars of political science about what kind of government is desirable and why, in simple language for the reader.
