Be Happy, Joyful, and Lucky

Are the three compound words happiness, joy, and luck the same? If they are not, what differences do they have? Which one is the most general? The reality is that although these three words seem similar, their differences are not insignificant. Happiness is very general, and joy and luck are two important elements of happiness. We get acquainted with the building blocks of human happiness in the table on page 5: each has an acronym, and you can score each element from 1 to 10. In the end, divide the sum of your scores by 150 to reach your happiness percentage. In this table, Mr. X’s happiness percentage is 54. This person, despite being unlucky in life and not having remarkable successes, considers himself happy; he is an aware person and accepts and feels his happiness well. People who score below 50% naturally do not consider themselves happy; but is that really true? If their philosophical awareness score is high, assuming no human is less fortunate compared to inanimate objects and animals, it can be claimed that they are somewhat happy. Humans are the only thinking beings, and this is the most precious and rare gem granted to them in existence. Additionally, humans bear the burden of responsibility.
