Change Begins with Me

Change Begins with Me has been published by Niaz Danesh Publishing with a managerial perspective on the experiences of great historical figures. The author, by collecting a series of stories about the experiences of prominent historical figures, has sought to present important management topics to the reader in an engaging format. For instance, in the second chapter of the book, the author refers to a story from Saadi titled “If This Desk Were Permanent, It Wouldn’t Have Reached You,” and at the end of the narrated story, explains it using contemporary management interpretations. The author concludes this story from Saadi by stating: “Organizational posts, administrative positions, and the like are temporary and unstable. Therefore, those who hold them should use their power and ability to serve others while they possess it.” The next four chapters of the book, titled “Stories of Organizational Oversight and the Management of Human Resources and Talents,” “Stories of Work Motivation and Productivity,” “Stories of Creativity and Innovation,” and “Stories of Customer Orientation and Management,” are dedicated to topics such as “I Propose, Therefore I Am,” “How to Build Organizational Trust?,” and “Methods for Creating a Loyal Team.”
