Art Consumption and Aesthetic Experience

Category:
Publisher Anapna

Art Consumption is an interdisciplinary and comparative topic. It can be defined from an economic perspective, penetrates art cognition, and is explored through philosophy, aesthetics, and semiotics; it also draws on analytical approaches from sociology, psychology, communication sciences, and more. Despite this, art consumption is a new and less-known subject in comparative studies and requires more attention, especially in Iran. Therefore, in the present work, art consumption is examined alongside one of its most important aspects, namely “aesthetic experience,” to serve as a case study that introduces various dimensions of the topic and provides a foundation for extensive studies by those interested in comparative art research.
