And Now It Is Evening

In the short story “And Now It Is Evening,” a lonely man reflects on his memories. His wife, who has a strong passion for traveling abroad, convinces her husband to travel to Europe under the pretext of their daughter’s illness, and after some time, she arranges for her husband to join her. The woman leaves and disappears without a trace until, after much searching, the man discovers that another person was involved.
