Three Fake Narratives by Asghar Nouri (1955-), translator, playwright, and director, born in Tabriz. He holds a bachelor’s degree in French language and literature and a master’s degree in theater directing. He began working in theater in 1997 with acting and, in 1999, staged the play *The Boatman* written by Jalal Tehrani at the University Theater Festival. After writing several short plays, in 2001, he wrote and staged the play *The Game*, and in 2003, he participated in the Fajr International Theater Festival with the play *Hunting*. He has translated more than forty books in the field of literature and theater and introduced several contemporary French writers and playwrights to Iran for the first time. Since 2009, with the establishment of Theater Company 88, he has staged his plays in Tehran and countries like France and Germany. His other works include *From Someone Who is No Longer Here*, *Golestan*, *Barbados*, and *Me; Myself*. Iago: Nothing is more genuine than jealousy, nothing!
