Maryam Ahmadi Shirazi has been a teacher in education and recognized as an official instructor in family education since the inception of the family education plan at the Central Association of Parents and Teachers. Her concern for cultural work with families led her, along with her husband Siamak Jolayi, to establish the Mothers of Today Institute in 1998, aimed at raising family awareness to create better connections within the family and society. She has presented nearly forty lesson plans for families and implemented them, introduced new programs for family education nationwide, including the distance program at the Mothers of Today Institute. Maryam Ahmadi Shirazi continues to learn and teach.
