Us and Modernity

The book “Us and Modernity” written by Dariush Ashouri and published by Serat Publishing contains sixteen essays. Reading these sixteen essays provides benefits, one of which is a deeper understanding that an Eastern person gains about themselves. If this understanding is principled, it will surely extend to others, especially to the face of the colonizer. Some works, due to the hardship and effort the author expends, bring together the results of his research and knowledge fairly and with an inherent and necessary honesty.
