This book is written by Hamed Mohammadi, the screenwriter of Gold and Copper. The collection includes 9 short stories that approach death from a different perspective and attempts to present it in a sweeter light. One of the features of the stories in this book is the author’s attention to diverse characterizations framed in contemporary themes. The book also highlights tangible aspects of life in Tehran, related to intuitive and inner issues that are the main concerns of the author’s mind. The author focuses on topics that often provoke questions in the contemporary human mind, narrating them in simple language and thus trying to familiarize the audience easily with the depth of these issues and their role in daily life. Mohammadi has also written the screenplays for The Painting Pool, Angels Come Together, and Oxidation, and has directed two films, The Painting Pool and Oxidation.
