There Is No Melancholy

If we create a work that possesses both the characteristics of a novel and those of a short story, we both satisfy the tastes of story lovers and write a novel that today’s general readers seek. For the first time in Iran, I introduced this composite structure through writing the novel short story “Singing Life”. The novel short story “Mother, Love, and Nothing Else” also includes the features attributed to this type of work. Now, the novel short story “There Is No Melancholy” has been written in the same narrative style. Such a work is like a patchwork quilt composed of colorful pieces of fabric that come together to form a unified whole.
