Mohammad Mohammadali, born in 1948, published his first book titled “The Valley of Hendabad” in 1975. As a renowned and creative author of our country with his enduring works in the field of fiction literature, he represents a generation of contemporary writers whose lives and works are deeply intertwined. Mohammadali has always played an active role in fiction literature and in discovering and introducing new faces. He has served as editor-in-chief and editor of literary and cultural publications, and some of his works have been translated into Turkish, Arabic, German, English, and French. Among Mohammadali’s works, we can mention the books “The Better Ones,” “Retirement,” “The Second Eye,” “Regret from Facing,” “Wet Beliefs of a Dead Man,” and “Naked in the Wind.” In 2002, Mohammadali received the Yalda Literary Award and the Twenty Years of Iranian Fiction Writing Award.
