The Sun and the Moonbeam, or Gol-e Rana, is a romantic, festive, and mystical epic poem in Persian. It contains 3680 couplets in the fast meter, written in the Masnavi style, and the dialogues of the lovers in this epic imitate those of Nizami’s Shirin and Farhad.
