The Silent Pen

Sohrab Gol Hashem was born on May 5, 1957, in Mashhad. His writings were first published in 1976 in a newspaper printed in Mashhad, and since then, he has collaborated with many national publications. His caricature-words have been repeatedly printed in various journals. His first book, titled “Sometimes Life Is Not a Joke,” was a collection of caricature-words and selected humorous sentences, published in spring 2007 in Tehran. The second volume, named “A Few Steps to Reason,” was unveiled at the Tehran Book Fair in spring 2010. The present book includes the latest caricature-words by this humorist writer, along with their English and Arabic translations.
