This work is a collection of Ashura poems by poets from our country, characterized by eloquence and literary devices both verbal and semantic, discovery and innovation, conciseness, and uniqueness, especially the dignified poems full of imagination and emotion. In this book, poems by 72 poets have been selected, corresponding to the famous number of 72 martyrs of Karbala, and compiled in two sections. The first section includes poems of 14 renowned Iranian poets from the past thousand years who have preserved the sanctity of Ashura poetry. These poets are: Hakim Sana’i, Attar Nishapuri, Rumi, Saadi, Saif Farghani, Khwaju Kermani, Salman Savaji, Hafez, Mohtasham Kashani, Saeb Tabrizi, Bidel Dehlavi, Soroush Esfahani, Oman Samani, and Adib Al-Mamalek Farahani. The second section contains poems by 58 well-known contemporary poets, which constitute the majority of this poetry collection.
