The book The Fifth Night, written by Fariba Anisi, narrates the political activities of groups between the years 1977 and 1981. The main characters of this novel are two women named Monireh and Sedigheh, who became involved in political activities before the victory of the revolution. After experiencing several events, these two women leave the political scene but remain among the people. The story continues until 1981 and the bombing of the “Dolatou Prison” in Kurdistan. The narrative is told from an omniscient perspective and explores the lives of these two individuals and their families. Many of the events in this novel are based on reality. The Fifth Night was among the top 10 selected works at the Revolution Story Festival in 2010. This novel is ongoing, and Fariba Anisi is currently conducting historical research to write its continuation.
