The Epistle of Wisdom

Rumi Jalal al-Din Muhammad Balkhi is the brightest manifestation of the human spirit and the greatest symbol of Islamic mysticism. Rumi represents the pinnacle of Persian mystical poetry and, at the same time, is the most restless Iranian poet and thinker, with over 6,500 verses, making him one of the most prolific poets in the history of Persian literature. In cultures, figures like Rumi are generally referenced without citations; for example, Dehkhoda, Bahmanyar, Barghai, Partovi, and others rarely refer to various editions of Rumi’s works. In the present volume, examples similar to the Masnavi have been recorded based on the correction by Professor (Movahed). This correction, prepared by one of the prominent Iranian Rumi scholars, will, after a century, serve as a suitable replacement for the reference correction (Nicholson), and so on.
