The Dead Narrator

The book “The Dead Narrator” is the latest fictional work by Maryam Saheli. An author who, with the release of her previous work, the short story collection “No Solitude,” heralded a new generation of Iranian writers. An author whose works are not meant to add something to literature but to add something to the lives of their audience. Saheli is, in fact, a narrator of stories that are meant to animate a part of the nowhere of the minds and lives of her audience and to evoke feelings, emotions, and enthusiasm in them.
