The book The Commander in the Shadow is written by Vahid Khezab. This book reviews the life and martyrdom of Haj Imad Mughniyeh. Imad Mughniyeh, known as Haj Rizwan, was one of the commanders of Hezbollah in Lebanon who was martyred in an operation in Damascus in 2008. His father, Sheikh Jawad Mughniyeh, was one of the prominent Shia scholars of Lebanon. Jihad and Fuad, his two brothers, were later killed in conflicts between Lebanon and Israel. This book reviews the life of this great martyr and his story to create a role model and legend for young people who fight for freedom.
