The book “Tang-e SÄ«r” is a novel written by Sadegh Chubak, first published in 1963. This work is the first novel by the prominent Iranian writer, Sadegh Chubak. In “Tang-e SÄ«r,” Chubak portrays the bravery of fighters in Tangestan (a region near the Bushehr province). The protagonist of the story, Zar-Mohammad, fed up with social injustices, decides to enforce justice with his own hands and fight against societal wickedness. Zar-Mohammad has amassed a considerable amount of money and engaged in trade, but the governor seizes his wealth. Angered by the delay and absence of justice, he takes up arms and fights each of his enemies, one by one. The novel “Tang-e SÄ«r” is considered Sadegh Chubak’s masterpiece and tells a story that will remain in the minds of readers for a long time.
