On Thursday, September 15, 1973, Hadi Khorshahian, a contemporary poet and writer, was born in Shir-O-Khorshid Hospital in Gonbad-e-Kavus. From the very beginning, we moved to Neyshabur. Since 1998, we moved to Tehran. Since 1971, my writings have been published in the press. So far, I have published forty to fifty books in various fields: poetry, stories, literary criticism, and literature for children and adolescents. I received my bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Tehran. Now, I am a master’s student of General Linguistics at Azad University. Like all contemporary poets and writers, I have been a judge in various places and have achieved positions(!) in some competitions. I started both storytelling and poetry simultaneously and took both seriously. Now it’s up to you to judge which one (or neither!) has taken me more seriously (if at all!). I certainly don’t intend to abandon them to have a good time! Those years when publishing articles in the press was a tradition of the greats(!), I published articles in a hundred magazines and fifty newspapers (don’t be surprised! I swear, we used to have fifty newspapers!).
