Story Report 1

The book consists of ten “story reports” (a genre invented by the author). Ms. Farkhondeh Hajizadeh recalls about the “story report”: You weave stories anytime and anytime, and during sleepless nights, you ride the feather of imagination to all the peaks of undiscovered reality. Sometimes you spread a small spark of reality or something that could have been your reality but is not, in such a way that even you do not know where the realm of imagination ends and reality begins, constantly rolling in the chaotic reality of your mind’s stories… Even if you intend to write a report about a moment, a situation, someone’s life, or a certain event, you are drawn towards narration, and when you return to the writing, you realize it is neither a story as you have learned nor according to conventional definitions of a report. Among the most notable examples of this mixture is the “Story Report: Sohrab’s Chest.”
