Salt of Speech

This book is a collection of selected poems from dozens of Iranian poets from the third century AH to the contemporary period, with two verses chosen and categorized from each poem. Rafougaran uses 36 important themes of human material and spiritual life as the basis and selects two verses from each poem by Persian-speaking poets, categorizing them under the relevant theme. This book is very useful for those who, due to busyness, have less opportunity to engage with poetry, as the poems can add zest to their speeches and articles. Another important attraction of this book is Rafougaran himself, who is one of the successful Iranian entrepreneurs and merchants, a pioneer in manufacturing in Iran, and the founder of Bick factory and Soskmar pencil. Rafougaran has previously published the autobiography ‘A Remembrance of the Buddhas,’ the enjoyable and instructive novel ‘Khoddad,’ and the poetry collection ‘A Chat with the Sea.’
