Rearranging the Chairs

Rearranging the Chairs disrupts many equations and creates new calculations. The unseen stormy chairs leave subtle impacts, gentler than the breeze from aristocratic women’s fans in the Far East. Such rearrangements can unsettle the layouts of rooms, halls, and both public and private spaces. For instance, countless old cafes can transform their appearances with new chair arrangements. Rasul Yunan, born in 1969, is an Iranian poet, writer, and translator. He was born in a village near Lake Urmia and currently resides in Tehran. He has published several poetry collections. Selections from two of his collections, titled ‘A River Passing Through the Paintings,’ were translated into Armenian by Vahe Armen and published in Tehran. Works by him have also been translated into Sorani Kurdish and Kalhori Kurdish by Mariwan Halabjaei and Mohammad Moradi-Nassari. His collection of songs, titled ‘Once There Was a Lover,’ has been translated into French by Saeedeh Sadat Seyedkaboli and published in France by Christophe Chomant Publishers. Additionally, he has served as a judge for the Vales Literary Award.
