Political Factions in Contemporary Iran 1

The author, relying on statements, publications, and remarks of individuals affiliated with various factions, aims to introduce the current political forces and currents from 1995 to June 1997 and provide an analysis of their viewpoints. The book consists of three chapters. The first chapter explains factionalism in the Islamic Republic system from different perspectives. The second chapter offers a description and interpretation of the political, economic, and cultural positions of factions within the Islamic Republic system during 1995-1997, including groups such as the Society of Combatant Clergy and aligned organizations, the Association of Combatant Clerics and related groups, the Executives of Construction Party, the Society for the Defense of the Values of the Islamic Revolution, Ansar Hezbollah, and the Union of Islamic Student Associations and university graduates (Payam-e Daneshju). The third chapter compares the political, economic, and cultural viewpoints of the factions using charts and histograms. The final pages include conclusions, references, and a bibliography on the political factions in the Islamic Republic system.
