Narrative of the Beloved

The book “Narrative of the Beloved” (Re-examining the Life and Historical Experiences of Rumi in the Masnavi) written by Ghodratollah Taheri is published by Elmi Publications. In this research, the author attempts to discover and analyze some of the personal and private experiences of Jalal al-Din Muhammad Balkhi (Rumi) in several narratives of the Masnavi-e Ma’navi. The first chapter is written based on three premises – the principle of the relationship between art and the individual experience of the artist, the similarity of literary text to dreams, and the relationship between Rumi’s life experience and the Masnavi. The second chapter examines the process of Rumi’s intellectual and personal transformation. The subject studied in the third chapter is Rumi’s life and his close associates and their reflection in the Masnavi.
