Mirror in the Mirror

*The Mirror in the Mirror* is a poetry collection by Houshang Ebtehaj (H. E. Sayeh), published by Cheshmeh Publishing. An interesting point about this collection is that the selection of poems was made by Master Shafi’i Kadkani. Regarding the method of selection, he says: “If I had wanted to base this selection on the main axis of his masterpieces – most of which are ghazals – perhaps there would have been less opportunity for other types and examples to be showcased. However, in this selection, the main purpose was to present an outline of the different phases of his artistic creativity and examples of his various experiences in the realm of poetry and poetic expression.”
