Maybe Tomorrow Will Not Come

After a long absence from the country, Setareh returns to Iran and her beloved city Shiraz to reconnect with her old friend Maryam and spend some time breathing the air of her homeland. However, not long after her visit with Maryam and staying at her house, Setareh realizes that many things have changed, and Maryam and her family are no longer the people she once knew. Maryam has had an unsuccessful marriage, a shy and successful young man named Reza has become part of their family, and her brother Mani no longer lives with them, having separated from their parents. What intrigues Setareh the most is learning a surprising truth about Mani—a story connected to the past revealing that he is not the biological child of Maryam’s parents.
