List of Persian Articles – Volume 12

The List of Persian Articles is a distinguished work established over 60 years ago by the late Professor Iraj Afshar, who single-handedly founded it. Its application, informational value, and role as a reference book in the field of Iranian studies have continuously increased over time. Compiling such a list and publishing it regularly during Professor Afshar’s lifetime was very challenging. However, he remained dedicated to the continuation of compiling and publishing this list and hoped that its publication would proceed satisfactorily. It is now gratifying that his purpose has been fulfilled, and the Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia was able to publish volumes of the List of Persian Articles under his supervision during his lifetime. After his passing, the publication of subsequent volumes has continued in recent years despite financial difficulties. The continuation of the compilation and publication of the List of Persian Articles is primarily owed to the persistent efforts of Ms. Iranaz Kashian, the director of the Scientific Files Section of this center. She has overcome all existing challenges along the way and brought this service to its best conclusion. Additionally, the sincere cooperation and meticulous precision of Ms. Bahareh Badafras in typesetting, editing, and other preparatory tasks until the printing stage have been other pillars supporting the continued publication of this work. We hope that the List of Persian Articles, as one of the most fundamental reference resources, will be a practical and useful source for all Iranian researchers and scholars.
