List of Persian Articles in Iranian Research – Volume 11

The Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia (Center for Iranian and Islamic Studies) has so far compiled and published volumes seven to ten of the list of Persian articles in the field of Iranian research. With great pleasure, it now presents the eleventh volume of this collection to the cultural community and researchers. As you will notice, this volume contains the bibliographic details of 12,363 articles published between the years 2012 and 2014 (solar calendar). It is necessary to inform enthusiasts and followers of such works that the indexing of articles published in periodicals from 2013 to 2017 has been completed with over 5,000 entries, and in collections, references, yearbooks, etc. from 2012 to 2017, nearly 7,000 entries have been prepared, which will soon be released as the twelfth volume. It is a pleasure that this volume coincides with the eighth anniversary of the passing of Professor Iraj Afshar. There is nothing new about this volume that requires special mention, except that the Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia, according to its usual tradition, has reviewed, considered, and applied necessary corrections and notes regarding the criticisms and comments made by bibliographers and indexers pertaining to the previous volumes of the list of Persian articles. Those involved in compiling and publishing indices are well aware of the high probability of errors in recording numbers, figures, and names. Every such comment enhances accuracy in the work. We hope that enthusiasts will continue their criticism and attention to detail, aiding the publication of this flawless work left by Professor Afshar, a lasting legacy belonging to Iranian culture and the field of national bibliography and indexing. The Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia will also spare no effort in compiling and publishing this valuable work and improving it to the best of its ability.
