Lectures on Literary Criticism

The first part of this book is dedicated to an introduction about literary criticism and its history. The second part provides a brief report on the biography of Professor Abdolhossein Zarrinkoub and a timeline of his works. The third part consists of the professor’s lectures along with footnotes for clarification, explanation, or completion of points that the professor only briefly mentioned due to reasons such as limited academic term duration or audience reception. The fourth part is actually a supplementary section aimed at familiarizing students more with the historical development of literary criticism theories, their main ideas, and explanations about their applications.
