History and Ancient Culture of Azarbaijan in Response to Pan-Turkism of Aniran

The author of these lines, fully aware of his own lack of knowledge and the insufficiency of necessary documents and evidence, could not remain silent in the face of these absurdities and painful claims. Thus, as will be observed, he has prepared and compiled a book that is essentially a very small collection of writings, findings, and documented teachings from historians and Iranologists, both Iranian and foreign, concerning the history, culture, ethnicity, especially the language of the people of Azerbaijan. This is intended for those Azerbaijani compatriots who, for various reasons, may have little understanding of the historical, cultural, and national characteristics of their ancient homeland – Azerbaijan – and consequently might, God forbid, be influenced by the deceitful and false propaganda of Pan-Turkists lying in wait around the Iranian land.
