In this book, the four dimensions of health, as defined and explained from the perspective of the World Health Organization (WHO), are examined within Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh. Additionally, medical terms such as medicine, physician, health, remedy, and treatment are analyzed in Shahnameh. This work is the result of a qualitative and descriptive study based on content analysis, with its primary source being the Shahnameh of Hakim Abul-Qasim Ferdowsi. Furthermore, the book points out that Fereydun, the first professional physician in the world, possessed focused, dynamic, and innovative expertise in various medical fields. He is portrayed as experienced and groundbreaking in the treatment of infectious diseases, surgeries, sinusitis and bronchitis, depression, fever, leprosy, snake bites, and even dental decay.
