Extramarital Relationships

Engaging in a private relationship with the opposite sex by a married individual is considered a breach of trust. Extramarital relationships undermine the most important pillar of married life, which is trust. In Iranian society, most spouses who experience infidelity seek to end their marriage through divorce, while some wish to maintain the relationship and return to the pre-infidelity period. In both cases, psychotherapeutic intervention for couples is essential. This book explains the causes and conditions leading to infidelity, presents preventative strategies, and includes therapeutic protocols at the individual, family, and organizational levels.
