The present collection was intended to be published under the title “Political and Social Conditions of the Tribes of Southern Iran on the Eve of the Constitutional Revolution until the Fall of the Qajar Dynasty (Qashqai, Khamseh, Arabs, and Bakhtiari)”, but due to the length of the title and some other reasons, it was changed. In a strategic shift, Britain supported the central government to stand against the Soviet Union and protect its interests. The result was the creation of a strong army… The army and Britain joined forces to suppress the tribes, an action aligned with the 1919 treaty. Interestingly, the Soviet Union also fell into the trap of defending the Qazaq government…
