This collection includes the Turkish poems of the late Hossein Monzavi, which have also been translated into Persian. This collection is being published for the first time from Monzavi and has many audiences in Turkish-speaking cities across the country, especially in Zanjan. Regarding the Persian translation of the poems, there are some points worth mentioning—firstly, experts themselves know better than I do that translation, in principle, is a challenging and difficult task, and this difficulty becomes even greater when it comes to translating poetry. Translating the poetry of a great poet such as Hossein Monzavi—God knows I cannot find a fitting adjective for it—is therefore an extremely challenging task. Thus, dear audiences of Hossein Monzavi’s poetry, especially Persian-speaking ones… should not expect to encounter his unparalleled eloquence and unique style in the translation of his Turkish poems.
